JAMMU, Sept 28: Working president of JKPCC Raman Bhalla today claimed that BJP is not feeling “politically comfortable” as its “much- hyped pitch about generation of large-scale employment after its historical blunders in J&K did not happen on the ground”.
BJP’s problems in J&K have increased in the wake of the demolition drive, imposition of property tax, increasing unemployment and non-regularisation of daily wagers. Besides, bureaucrats from outside J&K have been given “plum postings”, which has caused resentment among local officials, he said, adding there was a “disconnect between the administration and common public”.
Addressing impressive public gatherings at Makhanpur, Hakkal, Nai Basti, Khandwal, Sajadpur, Dashmesh Nagar, Digiana, Model Town, Darsopur, Kotli Shah Doula and Bandurakh in RS Pura Jammu South constituency, Bhalla said that people of J&K will teach BJP a lesson, as the ruling party committed great atrocities upon the common people and all sections of society are great sufferers due to the policies of BJP Government. He said that BJP has let loose a reign of terror from tax terrorism to all sorts of other anti-poor, anti-farmers, anti-youth and anti-trade policies besides looting the local resources after the arbitrary disbanding and downgrading of historic Dogra State of J&K and offering jobs to outsiders at the cost of large scale unemployment in J&K.
Bhalla said people have learnt how to force Modi Government to change its anti-people policies and they will repeat the same here in future. He said unemployment is at highest peak especially in J&K, economy is at the lowest ebb and each and every section of the society is suffering due to wrong polices of BJP and Modi Government people of Jammu have got only toll plazas, privatization of power and offering of local resources and jobs to outsiders.
He said that people of J&K are totally fed up with BJP’s Jumla politics, large scale unemployment and record price rise under Modi regime. He also accused the BJP of failing to read the pulse of J&K people and said it cannot shun and run away from owning the responsibility of creating this mess and back-stabbing the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “The directionless, agenda-less and clueless policy of the BJP Government has left the people of Jammu and Kashmir in complete despair and this is a grave national concern. BJP Government lacks economic roadmap for inclusion and progress for the people of J&K, said Bhalla.
