TCS providing free employability training to J&K youth

JAMMU, Jan 6: A Kolkota based private firm, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) under their project TCS-Udaan is providing free employability training to the unemployed graduates in Arts, Science and Commerce, BBA, BBM, BMS, B. Pham in Kolkata for unemployed youths of J&K including that of Leh and Kargil as a gesture to extend their help to the unemployed youth of flood affected areas of J&K.
TCS is offering 14 week training to the candidates during which free air-conditioned accommodation, free boarding and lodging will be provided to the trainees, besides they will be paid a stipend of Rs.200 per day and a stipend of Rs.15000 every month for the first year on successful selection as TCS employees. TCS will also offer free travel by air to the training location and back to base after completion.
The tele-interview by TCS was conducted at Leh and Kargil on December 12, 2014. 70 graduates appeared at the Leh centre out of which 56 were interviewed by TCS including 33 girls candidate. 56 graduates appeared at the Kargil centre out of which 35 were interviewed including 2 girl candidates. 10 candidates from Kargil centre and 24 candidates including 12 girls candidates from Leh centre have been selected by TCS.
TCS wants to conduct one more tele-interview for youth of Ladakh region for more selections. The date of second schedule of tele-interview has been decided on January 8  & 9, 2015.
