JAMMU, July 6: The slogans of coalition Government for so called equitable development of all the three regions is simply a drama.
In a statement issued, President, Thathri Development Front (TDF), District Doda, Kuldeep Kumar said that the Erstwhile Tehsil Thathri having 5 Tehsils deserves District Status vis-à-vis separate Assembly Constituency and separate Tourism Authority.
He stated that the delimitation of Assembly seats has become more necessary with the creation of 8 new districts because some areas of one constituency are falling under the administrative jurisdiction of two districts, adding that this sort of situation exists in many Assembly segments across the State which hampers the developmental and other social welfare activities.
