TDF urges LG to fill up vacant posts in schools, colleges

DODA, May 28: Thathri Development Front (TDF) has appealed the Lt Governor to immediately fill up vacant posts of Lecturers in Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools of rural areas of J&K Union Territory.
In a press statement, the members of Thathri Development Front, District Doda, have expressed serious concern over the deteriorating plight of Govt Degree colleges and Hr Sec. Schools in rural areas of J&K due to non-availability of teaching staff. The vacancies of teaching staff vary in different streams and reportedly in some streams the situation is worst due to non-availability of staff since long times, they said
The members appealed before the Lt Governor G C Murmu to take cognizance of the deteriorating plight of student community across the Union Territory due to non-availability of teaching staff and take immediate necessary steps so that filling up of vacant posts in Govt Degree Colleges and Govt Hr Sec Schools is taken up on fast tract basis, and future of students is saved to some extent.
