TE employees protest against political interference

SRINAGAR, Aug 23: Scores of employees of Technical Education Department today protested against political interferences that has what they said halted the developmental activities and patronized nepotism and corruption in the department.
The protesting employees said that political and administrative interferences has caused hypertension to large number of employees who lose their interest to work in absence of congenial atmosphere.
The aggrieved employees said: “No Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) was convened for Kashmir division for unknown reasons with the result large number of deserving employees eagerly waiting for their promotions against promotion quota posts here had to superannuate without getting their regularization on substantive posts.”
They said that the officials of Kashmir division were eagerly waiting for meeting date, but time and again political interference in the affairs of administration had dashed all the hopes of the employees to ground.
The employees threaten agitation in case concerned minister does not avoid unnecessary interference in the departmental affairs.
