BILLAWAR, Sept 28: Exhorting people to teach BJP a lesson for snatching away their democratic and constitutional rights, All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary and In-charge J&K affairs of the party Bharatsinh Solanki today said that elections on October 1 are an appropriate opportunity to give a befitting reply to the Saffron Party for its treachery.
“Use the power of the vote to teach a lesson to those who are responsible for the hardship the people of J&K have been facing for the last 10 years”, Solanki said.
“I stand before you to expose the treachery of the BJP. For ten long years, they have ruled our State with an iron fist, snatching away our Statehood and bringing chaos and uncertainty to our beloved Jammu and Kashmir”, Solanki said while addressing an impressive public rally in Billawar in support of party candidate, Dr Manohar Lal.
“The BJP has consistently prioritized its own interests over the welfare of our people. They have exploited our natural resources, allowed big businesses to loot our State, and ignored our concerns. It’s time to teach them a lesson for their betrayal”, Solanki said.
“I dare the BJP to present its report card for the past decade. Let them show us what they’ve achieved, what they’ve delivered. But we already know the answer – nothing. Instead, they’re resorting to their usual tactics of misinformation and manipulation, trying to hoodwink the people with empty promises”, he cautioned.
“We see through their lies. We remember how they reneged on their 2014 promises. We remember how they’ve destroyed our economy, ignored our farmers, and compromised our national security”, he further said.
He, however, asserted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are not foolish. They will not be misled and they will not be deceived.
“People of Jammu will choose their own destiny, and they will ensure that our State is ruled by those who truly care for its people,” he said.
“Let us choose truth over lies and integrity over deception. Let us elect leaders who will work for us, not against you”, he said while asking people to elect Dr Manohar Lal.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Manohar Lal said that BJP has exposed before the masses. “People have realised that they had committed a big blunder in 2014 but this time they will vote for Congress for the overall growth and development of Billawar”, he said.
He appealed people to vote for Congress and bring Congress- NC coalition with an absolute majority.
