Teach For Kashmir prog being launched

SRINAGAR, Apr 9: To guide students of Kashmir in learning new ways to crack IIT JEE, widely regarded as one of the toughest examinations in the world, a group of IITians have taken an initiative to use their personal experience and expertise in guiding students of the Valley in the most efficient manner.
Saood Ibni Nazir, who is pursuing Integrated MSc in Physics at IIT Kharagpur hailing from South Kashmir’s Shopian district along with his two college mates Imbesat Ahmad and Saif Khan, have jointly undertaken an initiative “Teach For Kashmir” to venture into the educational sector in the Valley to help students prepare for the various competitive examinations voluntary.
The group aims to start its two month program in the second week of May, for which a prior entrance test is to be conducted followed by an interview.
For this mission, the group is also assisted by Raja Ishfaq Lateef who is pursuing B.Tech in Civil Engineering and Shahid Bashir who is pursuing B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Srinagar.
