JAMMU, Nov 18: Former Minister and president DCC Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today urged the people to teach BJP a lesson for their misdeeds with Jammuites by voting Congress candidates in upcoming DDC elections.
While conducting series of public meetings in favour of Congress candidates and attending nomination fillings at Billawar, Nagrota Gujroo, Mandli, Dinga Amb and Basohli, Manohar said that time has come to teach BJP a lesson.
He held public meetings in favour of Congress candidates, Sham Sapolia (Billawar), Kanta Devi (Mandli), Thakur Budhi Singh (Nagrota Gujroo), Smt Sushma Devi (Dinga Amb), Rajinder Singh Sanju (Mahanpur), Akash Bharat (Basohli).
Also accompanying Dr Sharma during meetings and nominations were Subash Gupta (Ex MLC), Birjeshver Singh (Indu) BDC chairman Block Barnoti, Davinder Singh Bindu, Kulbushan Singh, Thakur Rajinder Singh ,Reetu Choudhary, Krishan Singh, Anu Thakur, Karam Chand Khajuria, Ajeet Singh Samyal, Abdul Rashid, Chamail Singh, Virender Kumar and others.
