MENDHAR, Dec 8: The police has arrested a teacher for allegedly killing an old woman in his relation by throwing her down from the roof top in Gursai area of Mendhar.
The incident took place two day back when during verbal dual her relative Mater Mohd Akbar and others threw the woman from roof top of her house, causing her serious injuries. The woman was removed to SDH Mendhar and then referred to GMC hospital Jammu where she died today.
The police today registered murder case against Master Mohd Akbar and four other family members for allegedly killing their aunt. They had already been booked by police in case FIR No. 147/2015 U/S 366, 504, 506, 147, 323 RPC. The victim’s family has also named Abdul Hamid teacher and Constable Mohd Aslam in the FIR.
