Teacher, daily rated worker suspended for MCC violation

KISHTWAR, Apr 22: District Election Officer (DEO) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today suspended a teacher and disengaged a daily rated worker of Naigadh Supply Lines for gross violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
The suspended teacher is Rakesh Singh Parihar of Middle School Kandni. He has been attached at Primary School Satrool, Drabshalla, Zone Drabshalla. The disengaged daily rated worker is Mohd Bakshi.
The order issued by DEO Kishtwar reads that photograph of the teacher Rakesh Singh Parihar wearing the stole/symbol/poster of BJP was uploaded by him on his facebook account. The teacher also shared his comments ‘Ab Ki Bar Modi Sarkar’, on his facebook account and the same was forwarded to the Nodal Officer for MCC and Law & Order (Additional District Development Commissioner) for enquiry and report.
After ascertaining the facts/details, the report was submitted by concerned officer in which the teacher was found guilty of violating MCC. Acting tough against the gross violation of MCC, DEO Kishtwar suspended the Teacher with immediate effect.
In another incident of MCC violation, a photograph of Mohd Bakshi son of Ghulam Mohd Beg, resident of Hullar, who is serving as a daily rated worker of Naigadh Supply-lines, was found involved in the election campaign of Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo (MLC).
The complaint was forwarded to Nodal Officer MCC/Law and Order Kishtwar, who after ascertaining the facts/details found the daily rated worker Mohd Bakshi guilty of violating the MCC.
Acting tough against the gross violation of MCC, DEO Kishtwar disengaged Mohd Bakshi as daily rated worker of Naigadh Supply-lines with immediate effect.
The DEO further cautioned all the officers/officials not to indulge in any kind of political activities and abide the Model Code of Conduct in letter and spirit otherwise stern action will be initiated against the erring officer/official.
