JAMMU, June 30: A teacher drowned in Mansar Lake in Samba district while feeding fishes, police sources said today.
“A teacher identified as Gurbachan Singh, resident of Raipur Camp, Samba, last evening drowned into Mansar Lake when he slipped into the waters while feeding the fishes,” sources said here.
They said the deceased had gone to the tourist spot along with his friend for a picnic.
“The body has been fished out with the help of the divers,” police said adding that a case has been registered and investigations started.
