REASI, June 23: A young man working as Government teacher, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in a forest area near his residence at Hariwalla, Jamslan, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Mahore.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Farooq (30), son of Hamid Ghani of Hariwalla, Jamslan. He was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances. The hanging body was spotted by some locals who informed the police.
It appears to be a case of suicide even as cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be immediately ascertained. Police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
