Teacher suspended for creating hindrances in power project

KISHTWAR, June 8: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Angrez Singh Rana has suspended a teacher for creating hindrances in power project.
As per official spokesman, DDC Angrez Singh Rana has suspended Rakesh Kumar, working as a teacher in Primary School Dogan Tanji clubbed with Government Middle School Arzi in Education Zone Nagseni for provoking and instigating public against project authorities thereby causing hindrance in project work.
“Rakesh Kumar working as a teacher and posted in Primary School Dogan Tanji clubbed with Government Middle School Arzi in Education Zone Nagseni has been provoking people against the administration and creating hurdles in the construction of Pakal Dul Hydro Electric Project at Dul site”, spokesman said, adding that as per J&K CSR Conduct rules, Rakesh Kumar being a Government employee is bound to perform his legitimate duties and is not supposed to involve himself in provoking people against the administration and creating hurdles in the construction of such prestigious HEP projects of national interest.
Acting tough against the erring employee, DDC placed Rakesh Kumar under suspension with immediate effect and has been attached in the office of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar during suspension period.
Further, the Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik has been appointed as an enquiry officer to conduct an in-depth enquiry and submit the factual report within a weeks time positively, the spokesman informed.
