UDHAMPUR, Nov 4: A Government school teacher was today suspended from service for dereliction of duty and doing private business, that too during school hours.
The erring teacher, namely Manohar Lal, posted at Government High School Chatriari, Zone Duddu, was caught on camera while doing private business in a local fair during school hours.
Acting on the complaints and reports in this regard on social media, CEO Udhampur constituted a committee of Principal HSS Jakhed, HSS Basantgarh and HSS Keya to chargesheet the said teacher and conduct a detailed inquiry. Till the outcome of report, the teacher will remain attached in High School Chatriari.
