Teachers Federation alleges violation of transfer policy

UDHAMPUR, May 1: A general meeting of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation was held under the banner of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh, at Udhampur for discussing the issues of teachers and alleged violation of transfer policy.
The meet,  under the chairmanship of Kartar Chand,  State secretary,  strongly condemned the recent transfers of Masters/Lecturers, which are in violations of norms of the transfer policy made by the Government. The teaching fraternity was waiting for the transfer Melas   but the school administration is transferring the favourites of politicians / officers on the suitable places in the zero kilometers, the meet said and alleged that the school administration was befooling the teaching community.
“The so called transfer Mela is a flop show. The Federation demands cancellation of all the transfers made in violation of transfer policy. Otherwise we will be  forced to hold protest demonstration against the injustice,” the meet warned.
On the occasion,  annual membership drive of Shaikshik Mahasangh was also launched and it will continue upto 31 May 2016. During the month long membership, the Federation will cover all the zones of the District Udhampur. All the Teachers /Masters/Lecturers were requested to accept its membership . The ABRSM is working not only for the teaching fraternity but it also working for the betterment of education,  society and nation . The ABRSM is the only organization in India which has more than ten lakh members.
The Federation also discussed about the forthcoming two-day Abhiyas Baragh,  which will held on July 8 & 9,   2016 at Patnitop. It also discussed on the forthcoming one day Mahasamelen at Jammu on June 13, 2016.
Those who attended the meeting,  included  K  L Gupta, Radha Krishan,  Ravi Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Dr Mohan Lal,  Vidya Sagar,  Rakesh Sharma,  Bhagwan Dass and others.
