Teachers Federation apprises DSEJ about demands

JAMMU, Sept 22: A deputation of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation, led by general secretary Maheshwar Parshad, called on Director School Education Jammu, Samita Sethi, in her office chamber and presented a charter of demands.
The charter comprised of demands, like; Filling up of all vacant posts; Check on the malpractices going on in construction of school buildings, negligence on the part of monitoring and supervisory agencies which hampers quality education; Selection grade to the Under Graduate teachers; Avoiding extra assignments to the teaching community like deployments in the offices of ZEO, CEO, DSE and appointment of adequate clerical staff in these offices for the welfare of teachers.
The Federation demanded  adjustment of all Masters who have been deployed in CEO offices on Medical, Security, Court cases and repatriated cases immediately so that their salaries may be released at the earliest. Besides, timely release of salaries of the teachers under SSA and RMSA before 5th of every month was also demanded.
The Director listened to the demands and assured early action on the same.
The deputation comprised of Mohan Singh, B S Verma, Manjeet Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Shiv Dev Singh, Krishan Lal, Radha Krishan, Tilak Raj, Ashok Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Jyoti Jamwal, Reva Ranu, Raj Rani and Agya Kour.
