UDHAMPUR, Mar 3: A meeting of United Teachers Federation Udhampur was organized to discuss various issues and demands of the teaching community.
Held under the chairmanship of Madan Lal Gupta, the meet demanded removal of pay anomalies of Mater Grade, selection grade to under-graduate teachers, earned leave for teachers, issuance of adjustment order of newly promoted Headmasters/ Masters, filling up of vacant posts of lecturers, ZEOs and Principals and release of mid-day meal claims immediately.
The meet also urged the Department to assign only teaching duties to the teachers.
Those who spoke in the meeting, included Ram Parshad, Surinder Sharma, Kewal Gupta, Ravi Padha, Girdhari Lal, Vijay Sharma, Rakesh Balwai, Ravinder Tripathi, Vijay Sharma, Mohd Akram, Gulsher Ahmed, Vinay Gupta, Prashant Dubey, Gopal Singh, Madan Gopal, Sohan Lal and others.
