SAMBA, Nov 26: Though on one side the Central Government launched various schemes for the welfare of the girl child and the district administration Samba also launched a massive campaign on the Beti – Bachao Beti – Padhao, on the other hand the girl students of Government High School, Nanak Chak in district Samba are forced to clean the main entrance of the gate.
The school is located at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Nanak Chak area of district Samba. This morning when the school opened a girl child was asked to clean the main entrance of the school premises by the teachers.
Although the Education Department deputes the sweeper to clean the school premises, the students are forced to clean the school entrance.
Local said that one side the Government launched various schemes for the girl child and on the other side the students of the school are cleaning in the school premises. The locals raised this question before the authorities of the Department also and demanded strict action against the school staff.
