Teachers Forum condemns Govt order on repatriation of RReTs

JAMMU, July 28: To convey strong resentment against the Government order on repatriation of Teachers Grade-II, Grade-III and RReTs, an emergency meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today at its Head Office in Gandhi Nagar Jammu, under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, Chairman JKTF J&K UT
In the meeting, a strong resentment, anguish and reservation were shown by all the members against the alleged dictatorial orders issued by the office of the Principal Secretary, Department of School Education, in which the Teacher Grade-II, Grade -III, RReTs , transferred/attached/deployed on various grounds including marriage, medical and other humanitarian grounds, were asked to get relieved from their present place of posting and report at their original place of posting from where they were appointed as the Rehbar-e-Taleem Teacher.
Ganesh Khajuria criticised the anti – employees policies of the higher authorities of School Education Department who are hell bent to harass the employees and to tarnish the image of the teaching community on the one pretext or the other.
He warned the authorities not to harass the innocent employees of School Education Department and also not to test their patience.
Ganesh Khajuria appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to personally intervene in the matter in order to stop such type of dictatorial moves and provide justice to the teaching fraternity. He also appealed for a clear cut transfer policy in favour of the Teacher Grade-II, Teacher GR-III and RReTs.
The meeting was attended by all the members of Central Executive Body, including Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Gopal Singh, Haji Mohd Iqbal, Rajinder Gupta, Raj Singh, Jamayat Ali Agah, Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Bandral, Kuldip Verma, Surinder Sharma, P D Singh, Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Gautam Singh.
