JAMMU, July 10: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum called on Director School Education Jammu P K Pole and apprised him of various demands of the teaching fraternity.
The deputation, led by the Forum general secretary Ganesh Khajuria, highlighted the demands, which include adjustment of Lecturers in all streams for tracing out clear picture on vacancies of Masters, promotion of 2012 promoted Masters before those promoted in 2013, repatriation of all Masters to their parent district and no pick and choose in transfers and adjustments.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to look into all the demands.
Those who comprised the delegation, included Ram Parshad, Rajeshwar Singh, Satish Dutta, Darshan Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Raj, Omkar Singh, Shankaar Singh, Majeed Chowdhary, Ravinder Tripathy and Surinder Sharma.
