UDHAMPUR, Aug 16: A meeting of the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, District Udhampur unit, was held today under the chairmanship of provincial vice-president Rajesh Sharma.
The meet discussed various demands and issues, which included immediate release of grants for clearing all pending bills related to MDM scheme, salary grants under RMSA and SSA, review of transfer policy, adjustment of newly promoted Masters as Headmasters, and issuance of GP statements in favour of employees.
The meet strongly condemned posting of some Lecturers against the other subject Lecturers and transfers of some handicapped and medically unfit Masters to far flung areas.
The meeting was attended by Ram Parshad, Chaman Lal, Satpal, Vijay kumar, Gulsher Ahmed, Ravi Padha, Kewal kumar, Rajinder Gupta, Rajesh Tiku, Satvir Chowdhary and others.
