Teachers Forum highlights issues, demands

JAMMU, Oct 5: Today a virtual meeting of core committee of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held under the leadership of Ganesh Khajuria, Chairman JKTF, to discuss the issues confronted with teaching fraternity.
While speaking on the issues, Ganesh Khajuria demanded the conduct of DPC of all cadres at the earliest and filling up of all the vacant posts of Teachers, Masters, Headmasters, ZEOs and Principals to remove stagnation and make best use of available human resource for the welfare of teaching community and students in Government Schools. He further demanded the adjustment of unadjusted lecturers who were promoted in 2019 in different disciplines and are still waiting for their adjustments.
Ganesh Khajuria also demanded that transfer lists of Teachers and Masters under ATD – 2021, should be released without further delay and those Teachers, Masters serving outside their home locality or districts be repatriated and adjusted nearby their homes or parental zones to improve the academic environment with the service of well motivated teaching fraternity.
Some other issues related to teaching community were also discussed to improve the work culture for welfare of students.
