UDHAMPUR, July 4: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by district president Surinder Sharma, called on Chief Education Officer Udhampur J R Bhardwaj and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
In the memorandum, the JKTF has highlighted the demands like timely release of salary of RRTs/ Teachers / Masters working under SSA, release of grants under SSA to clear the pending 6th Pay Commission installment arrear, clearance of all pending bills pertaining to Mid-Day meal scheme, early disposal of post facto permission cases who have acquired higher education, framing the syllabus for classes 1st to 4th at the district level, according priority to subject need of the institutions and unadjusted teachers while effecting transfers, issuance of GP fund statements in favour of the concerning incumbents, conduct of examination for classes from 5th to 9th as per old practice, etc
The deputation comprised of Rajesh Sharma, Kewal Krishan, Satvir Chowdry, Rakesh Kumar, Gulsher Ahmed, Vijay Sharma, Shiv Dev Singh, Ravi Padha, Girdhari Lal and others.
