JAMMU, Apr 18: A number of teachers assembled at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, today.
The main agenda of meeting was to discuss for the release of salary for the teachers and pending liability of the employees. In the meeting the teachers stated that they have reached at the verge of starvation due to non-payment of salaries for many months.
It was requested to the administration to provide the transportation facilities while going to school and vice-versa. They further requested to the administration to look into the matter so that their salaries dues are released or they will be left with no option than to come on roads.
Those who present were Susheel Singh, Shiv Nandan, Surinder Singh, Devinder Kumar, Nazir Ahmad, Nag Raj, Balbir, Sunil Singh Jasrotia and Amit Padha.
