DANSAL, Apr 2: Govt Middle School, Simbal Lehar in Dansal Zone of Nagrota in district Jammu is facing shortage of staff since long.
Sham Din Poswal, a social worker and VEC Member concern expressed concern over shortage of teacher in this School falling under Zone Dansal. Poswal said there there are more than 80 students in this school and just two teachers are available against the sanctioned strength of six for the last over two years. These two teachers have not attended any classes online as well as offline for the last two years. One teacher of this school is deployed with Revenue Department. The future of the students of this area is appearing dark.
He said the School Education Department had issued order for cancellation of attachments vide Government order No. 1691 JK (Edu) of 2021 dated 10/12/2021. But the teacher did not join back in this School. The Government also issued circular No 1 of 2022 dated 21/01/2022. Only one teacher is presently providing education to the children of this Middle school. The concerned CEO and Director should take cognizance of the matter, he added.
