Teaching Aids exhibition concludes at New Modern College

JAMMU, Apr 28: Week Long exhibition of “Teaching Aids” organized at New Modern College of Education concluded.
During the exhibition, students prepared two and three dimensional charts and models, which a teacher requires to deliberate classroom transaction.
On the concluding day, K Rajindra Kumar, ADGP Armed and Prof Nalni Kohli, Principal, Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Tarun Bahl, Chairman, New Modern Group of Colleges presented the welcome address.
Prof Siraj-ud-Din Bhat, Principal, said that the motive behind the conduct of workshop was to train our pupil teachers in the art of making Teaching Aids to facilitate teaching learning process in the classrooms.
ADGP K Rajendra Kumar and Prof Nalini Kohli, with other dignitaries released 3rd issue of College News letter “Elite”.
While speaking, Prof Kohli said that such exhibitions enhance the mental ability of the students who are the future teachers.
K Rajindra Kumar in his address said that a teacher has to be versatile enough to mould himself according to the learning needs of a student.
The programme was hosted by Jaspreet Kaur, Lecturer while Sarita Gupta, senior lecturer presented vote of thanks.
