Team Jammu chief releases Dogri album ‘Paabhi Jandi Pekde’

JAMMU, Apr 13: Chairman Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal released a Dogri DJ song “Paabhi Jandi Pekde”, sung by noted singer Bishan Sayal, here during an impressive ceremony on Wednesday.
Senior journalist Dinesh Mahajan was the guest of honour while Director of album K K Malhotra and Amit Mahajan, Chairman PCI Folk Music, were special guests on the occasion.
The song has been pictured in Jammu at various locations and depicts the love and affection between a Bhabhi (sister-in-law) and Devar (brother-in-law).
Speaking on the occasion, Zorawar Singh Jamwal expressed happiness over the growing love of the artists and the people for Dogri language and wished good luck to entire team for their future endeavours. He said there has been growing popularity of Dogri language among the masses in J&K and across the country.
“Dogri language is not limited to the boundaries of Jammu and Kashmir only. It is getting fast recognition at national and international level due to the hard work and extraordinary talent of our budding artists. Like Punjabi language, Dogri has now broken the barriers of regional boundaries and it is now fast growing language among the people,” said Zorawar Singh.
Team Jammu chief also appreciated the talent of young and budding singers singing songs in Dogri language, and favoured earnest efforts from all stakeholders for further promotion of Dogri language and culture. He also extended whole-hearted support to young artists and singers for promoting Dogri language and culture.
In his address, Dinesh Mahajan congratulated the entire team of Dogri DJ song ‘Paabhi Jandi Pekde’ and wished them good luck for all their future endeavours.
Dinesh Mahajan said that youth of Jammu region are full of talent and the only need is to channelize their positive energies in different fields. He hoped that the Dogri album would not just stand in J&K but in the entire country.
K K Malhotra, in his address, gave a brief overview of Dogri album and hoped that the people would shower their love on them by sharing and liking the song.
The music of song has been given by Ashh K while Danish Mir is the Assistant Director. The song was choreographed by Prerna. The song features Laxmi Thappa, Miksha, Nazia Malik and Vikrant.
