Team Jammu distributes woolen clothes to flood affected families

UDHAMPUR/REASI, Oct 13:  Coming true to its commitment to provide every possible help to the flood and incessant rains affected people of this region, Team Jammu, a group of doctors, advocates, journalists, professionals and businessmen, reached to the remotest areas of Udhampur and Reasi districts to provide warm clothes to the people before onset of the winter season.
Members of the Team Jammu have been responding promptly to the call of collecting warm and woolen clothes and provided every possible help in collecting such clothes. As the Team Jammu had promised to provide relief to the affected families, volunteers of the Team distributed relief materials at Kaarcha, Maalti, Sadhota, Bhadota, Galyout, Kultiar, Maali etc.
The unconditional and timely support of civil administration helped a lot in Team Jammu’s drive for relief distribution..
“It was an overwhelming and emotional experience as we have seen the condition of those people living in that area who are ignored by our esteemed leaders for vote bank politics but Team Jammu with a message of brotherhood and love comes all across the way to reach them to bridge the gap n spread love n affection to people”, a volunteer of the Team Jammu said, adding, “I have seen myself that the elite businessmen in that area is now a tea stall owner who earns some money by selling tea and snacks”.
Team Jammu has appealed to the concerned authorities supervising the rehabilitation operation to visit there areas and provide adequate infrastructure which can help them to survive the severe cold and snowfall in days to come.
