JAMMU, Dec 5: On the eve of Armed Forces Flag Day, the Team Jammu organized a blood donation camp at Military Hospital Satwari, Jammu Cantt, as mark of respect to the soldiers who have attained martyrdoms while fighting with Pakistan sponsored proxy war in the country in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular.
Number of volunteers of Team Jammu, including females, College and University Students and educated unemployed youth, in collaboration with Rajya Sainik Welfare Board, donated blood during the camp under the leadership of Zorawar Singh Jamwal, chairman of the Team Jammu. The blood donated by the volunteers of Team Jammu is for the soldiers who have been fighting proxy war.
Speaking on the occasion, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that aim of organizing today’s blood donation camp was to pay tributes to the soldiers who have attained martyrdoms at Pathankot, Uri and recent terror attack at Army Camp, Nagrota. Our brave soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the future of our generation and it is duty of every citizen to give respect and honour to the soldiers,” he added.
