JAMMU, Sept 17: To control the menace of polythene, Chairman Pollution Control Board (PCB) Ravi Kesar today constituted four teams of Board and Forest Protection Force officers and allied departments for seizing banned polythene bags in various parts of Jammu city.
Later, the team of officers during various inspections seized huge quantity of banned polythene bags. The Board will continue its endeavor in controlling the menace of polythene carry bags in future and has requested general public to cooperate and not to use polythene carry bags as the same is banned in the State.
