JAMMU, Nov 26: Three-day techno-cultural festival- Youthopia by the DIT University concluded with grand finale and a spectacular show.
After the grand first and second day of the festival, DIT University resumed its third day of the techno-cultural festival with unmitigated zeal. The final day had to be the most spectacular one since a grand finale was inevitable for an event of such a stature.
All the events were a hit as the outside colleges also joined hands to add a spark to this festival, on the final day for all the techno-cultural events. Though the participants faced fierce competition, this spirit added fuel to fire.
The final round of technical events Code Buster and Code Draw, Sherlocked and others were held and Maker’s Challenge was added to the list. The robots created by the talented participants, rose up to the final round of Combat-De-Robo and proved their worth by having a big fan base. Participants picked up gears, as the finalists of LAN Gaming prepared for the epic event. The finale of Gully Cricket, badminton, Futsal (Football), and basketball was held.
Events like the Crescendo, Nukkad Natak and Fest-in-Beats had their final rounds today with a fueled face-off among the young performers under the cultural banner. Secure Meter’s Prize Distribution ceremony was also held. The informal banner held fun events like Antakshari, Spoon Race, Kabbadi and Matki Race.
Various art and craft events like Face Painting, Pot Design and Clay Modelling were held under the Fine Arts banner. It brought life and added a jolly spark to the atmosphere as students showed off their colorful and creative art skills.
While Day 2 ended with the fantastic performance by DJ Candice Redding and DJ Maddy, the highlight of Day 3 was The Star Night with The Meet Brothers that sealed the techno-cultural fest Youthopia-2018. The Meet Bros, Mannet Singh & Harmeet Singh with their ‘rock star image’, super star persona and foot tapping songs created the vibe for a great show. The students grooved to their tunes as the magic on stage cast its spell on DIT University.
