TEDx GMC Jammu inspires with ‘Echoes of Impact’

JAMMU, Mar 15: Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu transformed into a hub of innovation, inspiration, and storytelling as it hosted the third season of TEDx GMC Jammu. Themed “Echoes of Impact,” the event brought together a diverse array of speakers and attendees, leaving an indelible mark on all who participated.
The packed auditorium witnessed an impressive lineup of speakers, each sharing transformative ideas and compelling narratives. Among the distinguished speakers were Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Principal and Dean of GMC Jammu; Dr Yangchen Dolma, HoD PSM GMC Kathua; Dr Vishal Gabale, MD Medicine and founder of “Health with VG”; Karteek Routh, co-founder of DocTutorials Edu Tech Pvt Ltd; and Ankita Shah, an accomplished Indian Nepali writer. Their talks resonated deeply, sparking conversations that extended far beyond the event itself.
Adding a creative touch to the intellectual discussions, Akanksha Tungria delivered a captivating artistic performance, offering a soulful interlude that enriched the overall experience. The event’s organizing team was led by included Ritik Kaste (organizer) and Lavanya Talwar (co-organizer).
Faculty organizers, including Dr Sandhya Arora, HoD Forensic Medicine, Dr Sandeep Dogra, HoD Microbiology, Dr Sindhu Sharma, Professor of Pathology, and Dr Naveen Akhtar, Assistant Professor of Transfusion Medicine, played a vital role in ensuring the event’s smooth execution.
The event was further honored by the presence of Dr Rakesh Bahl, Principal of GMC Doda. A collaborative effort between various partners ensured its success, with “Raag Motion Pictures” as the digital partner, “Kaushivi Decors” as the decor partner, and “Hadenorbis” as the design partner.
