RAMBAN, Aug 20: A teenage girl was found dead along roadside under mysterious circumstances, here today.
As per police sources, body of a girl identified as Poonam Devi (19), daughter of Bansi Lal Sumbriya was found lying along Ukhral-Ramsu road near Munsiff Court complex.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital.
After completing legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
The family members said that the deceased had altercation with her elder sister after which she jumped from the hill side.
However, inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Ramsu Police in this regard.
