UDHAMPUR, Oct 19: In an apparent case of suicide, a teenage girl was found hanging from ceiling fan at her house in village Thathi, in Udhampur.
According to the police report, Priyanka Bhagat (18), daughter of Krishan Chand, resident of Kottli Jija Thathi Udhampur, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
Family member saw her hanging and rushed her to the hospital where doctors declared her as brought dead. It was an apparent case of suicide but cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
Rehambal Police has registered the case and started further investigation.
