UDHAMPUR, Apr 25: A teenaged girl attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in village Jib, here today.
The girl, namely Sneha (15), was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of her critical condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was injured when his bike skidded off the road near Mand in Udhampur. The injured was identified as Vikram Singh (25), son of Sanjay Singh of Mand. He was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment.
