SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Police today said a teenager died after he was electrocuted in Kupwara district of North Kashmir last evening.
A police spokesman said 18 year-old Shaid Ahmad Chopan hailing from Chopan Mohalla in Kunan village of Trehgam in Kupwara district of north Kashmir received electric shock at his home. He was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“After completion of legal formalities body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
