JAMMU, Jan 1: A teenager got seriously injured when a licenced gun of his grandfather went off in Pouni Chak area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana Police Station.
Police spokesman said that, 16-year-old boy identified as Sachin Padam, son of Anil Padam, resident of Anand Nagar, Bohri sustained injuries in his hand while he was fiddling with the licensed rifle of his grandfather at their residence in Pouni Chak.
The boy was hospitalised while a case under FIR number 1/13 under section 325 of Arms Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigations are in progress, spokesman added.
