DODA, Dec 7: A teenager was killed while one another received injuries when the election campaigning vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle on road in Bathri area, here today.
As per police sources, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK06A-9221 engaged in the election campaign for BJP party was on its way to Kahara from Gandoh, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and turned turtle on road in Bathri area, resulting into on the spot death of a teenager and injuries to 4 others.
The deceased has been identified as Mushahad Hussain (18), son of Mohammad Hanief, a resident of Gundoh.
Four persons also received minor injuries in the accident and were discharged after first aid.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gandoh Police Station and investigation started.
