BHAGLAPUR, Dec 22 : Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav said that the women would get economic justice after RJD forms a government in the state.
While interacting with the women workers of his party in Bhagalpur on Sunday, Yadav said that he has prepared schemes for women’s empowerment and for their prosperity. Under this scheme the women would get Rs 2500 every month.
Yadav said that under the Social Justice scheme, the pension amount of Rs 400 being given to old age people, widows and differently abled people would be increased to Rs 1500.
Yadav referring to a survey said that 94 lakh people in the state had only Rs 6000 monthly income and assured to extend financial help to such families for improving their economic condition.
RJD leader said that he has decided to give respite to the women from the costly cooking gas cylinder and electricity and wood make the cooking gas cylinder available at Rs 500 instead of Rs 1200.
He reiterated that every family would get 200 units of free electricity.
Yadav assured to serve the people after coming back to power.
