JAMMU, Feb 2: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today approved induction of SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh, an IPS officer of 2008 batch of J&K cadre, into the National investigation Agency (NIA) against an existing vacancy on deputation basis for the period of four years or till further orders.
An MHA order issued today asked the Union Territory Government of Jammu and Kashmir to relieve Singh to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre.
With Singh’s induction into the NIA, post of the SSP Jammu has fallen vacant.
