It is shocking and stunning that more than 115 devotees including 40 children and 55 women were crushed to death in a temple stampede in Datia, MP. These unfortunate ones had come to pay their obeisance at the famous Ratangarh temple on the concluding day of the Navratras.
This tragedy was not debated on TV Channels like all sundry stereo political topics being discussed for hours together. While the question as to why more often than not, mandir, Kumbh, yatra tragedies are taking place with impunity in this country very frequently without those responsible for carelessness, administrative failures and mismanagement being held accountable and severly punished, why there should be indulgence in cheap and ugly politics to score political parties?
