JAMMU, Sept 7: In connection with Ganesh Chutardashi a 10 -day long religious function will be organized at Siddhi Vinayak temple Muthi by Mahaganesh Charitable Foundation Trust, Hanand Chawalgam Kashmir camp Jammu.
The programme will commence with Bhajan Sandya on Vinayak Chouram evening falling on September 9 with Bhajan Sandya by Bhushan Lal Bhat (Sharnagat) and his Aarti Mandli. This will continue daily up to September 18 when a Maha Yagya will be held in the temple premises. The hawan will culminate with Puran Ahuti followed by serving of prashad to devotees.
This was stated by Jagar Nath Handoo, chairman of the Trust and its secretary, Prof O N Koul here today.
They said the foundation stone of community hall in the premises of grand Siddhi Vinayak temple at Muthi will be laid in the coming Navratra festival.
