RAJOURI, Feb 4: Tension gripped Dalogra village near Rajouri, after six persons were injured during clash and stone pelting between the two communities, followed by blockade of Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch highway for over three hours this evening.
Reports said that some people with the intensions to grab some temple land, started planting some saplings of trees at Dalogra village at around 5 pm today. The locals from the other community raised objection, followed by heated exchanges and clash. Both the groups resorted to stone pelting and also exchanged lathis. At least six persons from one group were said to be injured in the clash. They included Deep Kumar, Kamal Charan, Shallu, Bimla Devi and two more women.
After this, people from one minority community sat on dharna on Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch road at around 6 pm and disrupted movement of vehicular traffic. A large number of  vehicles were stranded on the road for hours together. The people were raising slogans against the District Administration.
Immediately after the incident, DySP headquarters and SHO Rajouri and Tehsildar along with some police force reached the spot. They tried to pacify the people but they did not buzz and demanded action against the people grabbing temple land and stoning on them. Later, AC Revenue Rajouri also reached there.
After the assurance from the District Administration, the people then lifted dharna at around 9.20 pm and allowed traffic movement on the road.  Police has registered cases in this connection while DC ordered inquiry into the matter.
