JAMMU, Mar 22: A law and order situation emerged in Mattu village of Khour tehsil here after the discovery of animals’ body parts in an open area near the local cremation ground.
A police official said taking cognisance of the matter, an FIR number 11/2025 was immediately registered and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, he said, it was revealed that one Sumit Choudhary, a local resident of Mattu, didn’t dispose of the carcasses of some animals he owned and rather placed them in open field, causing law and order problem in the area.
However, police have launched further investigation into the matter to uncover the truth.
