Refer news item ’65 terror outfits operating in India’ DE Aug 28.
It is a matter of great concern that 65 terrorist and insurgent groups are active in different parts of the country and are involved in subversive activities.
The existential threat posed to the country by these terror groups should awaken the countrymen, particularly, the politicians to fight them sincerely and ruthlessly.
The Government must involves all the States of the country in framing a policy to deal with the menace. The expenditure involved in fighting these terror groups is quite immense, but it should not break our resolve to fight them. Besides, the Government of India should expose the countries involved in fomenting trouble at international fora. Political parties should not indulge in blame games when it comes to fighting terrorism in the country.
