Despite being injured after being hit by a bullet in yesterday’s terror attack at Sunjuwan Military Station, a 24-year old woman from Budgam, Kashmir, delivered a baby at Military Hospital, Satwari, where she was airlifted yesterday during the evacuation operation.
Shahzada Khan, 24, wife of Rifleman Nazir Ahmad Khan, a resident of Budgam was hit by bullets in her lower back during the terror attack, was evacuated by the troops and shifted to Military Hospital, Satwari.
The 35-week pregnant Shahzada Khan delivered a baby girl, weighing 2.5 kilograms, after caesarean in the hospital.
Sources said both woman and her baby are safe and healthy. The injured woman is also responding to the treatment of bullet injury.
