KISHTWAR, Nov 7: Police here today produced charge sheet against a terror associate and active terrorist in a case filed under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
Giving details in this regard, SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal said in a significant development Kishtwar Police has taken a crucial step in pursuit of justice by producing charge-sheet in a case filed under UAPA. The case, registered in FIR No. 117/2023, U/Section 13/18/39, involved Mohd Yousuf Chouhan, son of Mohd Abdullah, resident of Chhar, Cherji, Tehsil Nagseni, district Kishtwar and Mohd Amin alias Jahangir, son of Mohd Anwar Butt, resident of Bhadat Saroor.
This case has been presented before the NIA Fast Tract Court Doda with Challan number 163/2023.
A handout stated that Kishtwar Police diligently investigated the matter and gathered substantial evidence to support the charges brought forth in the case.
