Thackeray releases booklet on ‘Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage’

MUMBAI, July 6: Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief and former CM of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray here today released a booklet and poster titled ‘Revival of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage Circuit and its Mythical Form’ at Mato Shree.
On this occasion Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena, J&K said: “Under the guidance of Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, Shiv Sena has released a booklet and poster to support the demand for the establishment of ‘Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Circuit’ by connecting and promoting various temples associated with the pilgrimage through road and rail routes.”
He informed that these materials will be distributed among the devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi to raise awareness.
Sahni said that Amarnath Yatra is currently underway and devotees from across the country are visiting J&K in large number.
“Distributing this booklet among them aims to invite their support for revival of the pilgrimage in its old form,” he maintained adding that they are not against development but compromising religious pilgrimages is something they vehemently oppose.
Sahni said that the pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji follows a path starting with first Darshan at Kol Kandoli in Nagrota, followed by the second Darshan at Deva Mai in Nomai village, then Darshani Darwaza at Katra, Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka, Ardhkuwari, Garbh Joon and finally the complete Darshan at the Holy Cave of Mata Vaishno Devi, followed by the Darshan of Bhairon Baba.
On this occasion Shiv Sena MP, Sanjay Raut, National Organizer, Ashok Tiwari and Vinod Singh were also present.
