JAMMU, June 23: Thakur Randhir Singh, younger brother of Thakur Rashpal Singh former NC MLA from Kalakote joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here today.
Thakur Randhir Singh along with his supporters joined BJP in presence of J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina and other senior party leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here.
BJP vice-presidents Dr. Narinder Singh, Sham Lal Sharma (Former Minister), Yudhvir Sethi, Shakti Singh Parihar (Former Minister) and Pawan Khajuria besides BJP general secretary, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal (Former Minister) were also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, welcomed the new entrants in the party and appreciated them for their wise decision. He said that they have come to the right party as they have got pure intensions to serve the masses and the nation with no self interest. He said that their joining is the proof that the masses are rejecting the opportunistic politics by the parties like NC, PDP, Congress etc and instead people are being attracted towards BJP in order to serve their masses selflessly. He also expressed faith that all the new entrants will dedicatedly serve the people with more power now and added that the joining will surely strengthen the BJP in the region.
Thakur Randhir Singh said that he along with his supporters is very much influenced by the aura and the works of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, that how the PM has set up an example of public service. He said that he is of the firm view that he will be able to serve his people and the belt with increased power and support now after he has joined the ranks of the party. He said that he is also very much hopeful that he will get full support, love and affection by all the party leaders in his future endeavours for the welfare of his people.
