Thana Diwas held at PS Malhar

KATHUA, Feb  16: As a part of the Public Outreach Programme,  Thana Diwas was conducted in the jurisdictional area of Police Station Malhar  in which large number of citizens, PRI’s and general public including Sarpanches  and other prominent persons of the Malhar as well as people from  adjoining areas participated.
The meeting was chaired by  SDPO Billawar accompanied by SHO PS Malhar  and other officers/ officials. During the meeting, participants raised some grievances of public importance and other general issues etc. They were assured by chairing officer that their genuine grievances shall be addressed as soon as possible so that more and more conducive and peaceful environment can be created in the society.
The aim of the meeting was to abridge the gap between public and police administration and to interact with the general public. The meeting chairing officers thanked people for participating in the meeting and assured  that such meetings shall be continued to be held more frequently in the near future.
